LEGAL : Estimating the Lawfulness of Extraterritorial Military Operations and Evaluating the Use of Destructive Force Beyond Armed Conflict Under International Law

Over the course of these three days, delegates will examine one of the most complex and sensitive issues in contemporary international law: “Estimating the Lawfulness of Extraterritorial Military Operations and Evaluating the Use of Destructive Force Beyond Armed Conflict Under International Law”. Delegates will analyze the legal frameworks governing state sovereignty, the prohibition on the use of force, and the interplay between international humanitarian law and international human rights law. Through debate, delegates will seek to clarify legal ambiguities, assess state practice, and develop recommendations to ensure accountability, legality, and the protection of human rights in cross-border military actions.
